Courtney is an industrial automation engineer with 16 years of professional electrical engineering experience, having done embedded system design, mechatronic design, programming, machine vision, controls systems and robotics. She got her Bachelors Degree from University of California, Santa Cruz in Electrical Engineering in 2007 and a Masters Degree in Controls Systems and Robotics in 2020. She also has an automation engineer husband of almost 18 years, and two daughters who enjoy learning robots and controls from mom and dad.

A respected and trusted journalist in the packaging community, Matt Reynolds became Editor of Packaging World in 2018. With PMMI Media Group since 2014, Matt's earlier career included editorial roles at Baking Management, Modern Baking, and multiple machine tool and fabrication publications.
