Presenters

Dani Dryer

Technical Services Manager, IFC

Dani Dryer has been the Technical Services Manager at IFC since May 2023. She previously worked as a Biological Sciences Laboratory Technician at the USDA-ARS in Manhattan, Kansas, studying stored product insect behavior and chemical communication. Dani also worked on developing pheromone and sticky traps for monitoring pests and evaluated mating disruption dispensers for Indian meal moths in warehouse settings.

Dani is currently completing her master’s degree in Entomology with the State University of New York Environmental School of Forestry, where she studied an invasive, parasitic muscid fly species in the Galápagos Islands and how these flies use chemical cues to find their hosts. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a concentration in Biology, from Cornell University.

Steve Romero

Director of Corporate Accounts, IFC

Steve has worked in the Pest Management industry for 25 years and over 17 years with IFC. He has worked primarily within the food industry and has extensive field experience working with rodents, stored product insects, and other pests that provide a threat to food facilities nationwide. Steve has provided IPM training for numerous food companies on a variety of IPM-related strategies and solutions.

Aaron Hand

Editor in Chief, ProFood World

Aaron Hand has three decades of experience in B-to-B publishing with a particular focus on technology. He has been with PMMI Media Group since 2013, much of that time as Executive Editor for Automation World, where he focused on continuous process industries. Prior to joining ProFood World full time in late 2020, Aaron worked as Editor at Large for PMMI Media Group, reporting for all publications on a wide variety of industry developments, including advancements in packaging for consumer products and pharmaceuticals, food and beverage processing, and industrial automation.
